Teacher agreement

1. Who you are
You work as an independent teacher or interpreter. You are not an employee of Mathla. You are responsible for your lessons, your content and your own taxes.
2. Verification
The information and documents you give us must be true. Mathla checks your ID and qualifications and may ask for more. False information can lead to removal from the platform.
3. Courses and sessions
You set your own prices. Mathla reviews each course before it goes on sale and may pause or remove a course or a person who breaks this agreement.
4. Payments
Students pay Mathla online. Mathla keeps 20% of each sale and you receive 80%. Your share is paid to your bank account 14 days after the payment.
5. Refunds and cancellations
A student may ask for a refund within 14 days under the Academy refund policy, and the refunded amount is taken from your share. If you cancel a session, the student is refunded in full.
6. Conduct
Be respectful, especially towards the Deaf community. No harassment, no discrimination, and no asking students to pay or talk outside Mathla before a booking exists.
7. Student data and messages
Use students’ messages, videos and details only for the lesson. Do not copy, share or publish them. Students’ practice videos are never used to train AI unless the student chooses so.
8. Content and certificates
You keep the rights to your content and allow Mathla to host and show it on the platform. Mathla certificates are certificates of completion. Do not describe them as accredited or official qualifications.
9. Ending this agreement
You can stop teaching at any time. Mathla may suspend or remove you if you break this agreement. Sessions already completed are still paid.
10. Law
This agreement follows the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
