Collect — record living signs

Collect is where contributors record signs live with a browser camera, following clear guidelines for framing, lighting, and clarity. You choose a sign prompt, record, and decide whether the clip is for training only or may be considered for the public dictionary after review. Live recording protects quality and trust in the database.

Dictionary — verified meanings

The dictionary is the public face of approved signs: searchable entries that have passed human review. It is designed for learners, families, teachers, and anyone who needs a trusted reference — not an unverified video dump. When public media is in testing, entries may be temporarily hidden while the community and reviewers continue their work behind the scenes.

Learn — classes and learning paths

Learn offers structured paths (like courses or classes) made of lessons, practice, and progress tracking. Paths help beginners build foundations and help continuing learners deepen vocabulary and confidence. Teachers and organizations can point classrooms to paths; learners can follow at their own pace with a clear sense of progress.

Community — belonging and shared questions

Community is where people ask questions, share announcements, request missing signs, and support one another. It is not a private messaging app — it is a public square for Arabic Sign Language culture and collaboration, moderated for respect and safety. Verified reviewers and active campaigns keep the space purposeful.

Campaigns — focused collection missions

Campaigns rally contributors around a theme or word list — for a school term, a health vocabulary set, a regional priority, or a partner program. Progress is visible so communities can see how close they are to completing a meaningful set of signs together.

Organizations — schools and associations

Verified organizations get a portal to invite members, coordinate campaigns, and understand impact. This is how Deaf associations, universities, and schools turn individual enthusiasm into structured contribution.

Review — protecting quality

Review queues let trained reviewers check technical quality, sign correctness, and community standards. Nothing becomes a public dictionary entry without the review path your consent and visibility choices require. This is how we keep the Arabic database trustworthy.

Impact, certificates, and recognition

Contributors can see dashboards, impact stats, badges, and certificates that recognize learning and contribution. Recognition is meant to motivate care and consistency — not vanity metrics.
